由出生于臺灣的設計師譚硯之創立于紐約。在其個人品味的導航下，華裳雜貨重新審視傳統，從旗袍的概念、裁縫結構和設計細節中找尋靈感和素材，技巧地重組、延展，開創干凈而屬于當代都會趣味的無極限設計。

Mandarin & General is a clothing line founded in New York City by Taiwanese-born designer, Peggy Tan. Fundamentally guided by Tan’s sensitivity for the urban fun and chic, the line finds its inspiration in the heritage of Mandarin-dress making. It cleverly sources, reconsiders, and reinvents constructional tradition and details in Chinese garments that Mandarin & General ultimately translates into fresh and meaningful designs for today.

The clothing and accessories created by Mandarin & General emphasize comfort, simplicity, high functionality and versatility. Each piece is charismatic and stylish, and when combined, they form a timeless wardrobe with endless possibilities. It is Mandarin & General’s philosophy to encourage individual authenticity.
